Amphibolite Beads

Amphibolite is a rather common constituent of Igneous and Metamorphic rocks, though rarely found in gem work. A black to dark gray, somewhat fibrous gemstone with a dusty luster. Also known as Hornblende. Hardness is about 5-6 on the Moh's Hardness scale.
