Hypersthene is a sub-metallic gemstone, usually of igneous origin and often associated with ultra-basic deposits (stones coming from deep within the Earth). This mineral is often found in meteorites and on the lunar surface (these beads are NOT from meteors or the Moon). Usually black to dark gray with flashes of light. It is often associated with Bronzite. (NOTE: All beads/stones can be assumed to be about a Grade B and UNTREATED, unless otherwise specified)
