Lepidolite Beads

Lepidolite is a truly beautiful deep purple to pale pink colored gemstone, usually with some black inclusions. Lepidolite is really a Mica and will sometimes have a sparkly appearance. You may also like Purple Quartzite, which is white Quartz run through with Purple Lepidolite crystals. This is a soft gemstone ( Hardness bi-directional with 2.5 in 1 direction and 4 in the other). We have seen the purple variety of this gemstone OFTEN marketed as Sugilite of late, however, Sugilite is much harder. (NOTE: All beads/stones can be assumed to be about a Grade B and UNTREATED, unless otherwise specified)
