practices for this website and applies to any and all information collected by this web site. Personal information is
collected only with respect to orders placed on the site. All orders are placed over the secure (https) Americart
server. We will never sell your information. Information Collection, Use, and Sharing: We are the sole owners of the
information collected on this site. We only have access to/collect information that you voluntarily give us via email,
online order placement or other direct contact from you. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone. We will
use your information to respond to you, regarding the reason you contacted us. We will not share your information
with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill your request, e.g. fulfill, verify and
ship an order. Security: We take precautions to protect your information. Wherever we collect sensitive information
(such as credit card data), that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. You can verify this
by looking for a closed lock icon at the bottom of your web browser, or looking for "https" at the beginning of the
address of the web page when using the Americart Shopping Cart. All secure information customer address
information taken via telephone is shredded in a timely manner. Only employees who need the information to
perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable
information. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure
environment.

send our customers to sites who use these methods.
Standard shipping charges
are $5.00
for First Class US Postal Service delivery within the United
States and APO addresses. Priority, Express, Fed-Ex 2-day and
Fed-Ex Overnight options are available for an
additional charge (calculated on checkout).
Special instruction Delivery messages such as "Leave on the porch behind the flower pot"
or "put inside door if not home" will not be honored. The postal delivery agencies (US Postal, FedEx, etc) will not
follow these instructions. If there are any issues with your order, we will attempt to contact you via the email
address listed on the order. Please make sure we can respond to this email address, i.e., that it is a valid
email address and that spam filters will not reject the message. If no response is received
regarding an open issue within a reasonable time frame, we will cancel the order. Modifications to an order can
be made before shipment, however, all modifications must be received in writing (via email) from the email address
listed on the order.
We will declare a USPS
First Class package lost if it has not been received
in 30 days within the Continental US and 45 days to Hawaii. (We have
noticed an increase in the number of delayed packages. About 1 in 1000
unfortunate customers receive their shipments
about 2-3 weeks late and tell us they have been "opened". We believe
this to be a by-product of the increased security
measures).
Orders may be subject to
verification, which could delay delivery. Large/high dollar
orders and overnight/rush orders will only be shipped to the billing
address.
WE NO LONGER ACCEPT INTERNATIONAL OR
MILITARY ORDERS. It was a difficult decision, but there were several reasons for this change.
The US Postal Service changes implemented in Fall of 2007 include increased complexity of Customs Laws and
rejected shipments. We do not feel we have the staff to remain
current on these ever increasingly strict and complicated regulations. All but one package lost in 2007 was lost
OUTSIDE the US. Even requiring Waiver of Liabilities, Customers were extremely angry with our company
when the package did not arrive, yet we have no way to track any lost packages nor even prove we shipped them.
We normally ship within
1-2 business
days after the order is received. If we are unable to ship
within 2 business days, we will notify the
customer. Please allow for additional processing time on large orders may require
additional processing time.

change without
notice and are in U.S. currency.
We only display items we
have in
stock. However, sometimes an item sells out before we can pull the
item from the website.
We receive many requests to pair up gemstones. At the current time,
we are providing this service without charge, however, please understand
that natural gemstones are very variable and that the pairing will likely
not be perfect.
We will exchange the item
for an equally valued item or refund the purchase price of
the item (less shipping charges and gift wrapping) if received by us,
in undamaged, resellable condition in the original
packaging within 31 days of
receipt. Return postage on the exchange will be billed at
regular rates. This gives a week for you to look the item over and a
week for the item to get back to us via First Class USPS mail. Send

A 15% restocking fee will be assessed on returns to cover processing fees and labor.
Broken strands will not be
accepted. Refunds will ONLY
be issued back to the original payment method. For instance, credit
card refunds will be refunded back only to the
credit card used for the purchase. If we are unable to issue a credit
back via the original payment method, the
return can only be used for an in-store credit.
We aggressively
pursue Fraud. This increases costs for everyone!.
We reserve the right
to ban any customer based upon: use of profanity,
rudeness or harassing behavior to our staff, unauthorized credit card
use, excessive returns, tampering with the
website or order form or any other activity we deem
inappropriate.
Our liability on any
purchase is limited to and cannot exceed the purchase
price.
We welcome link exchanges,
however, in the interest of our customers, all link exchanges must
meet the following
requirements: 1) Have a professional appearance, 2) NOT use popups or
spamming emails, 3) Take credit cards online, 4) Be clear to an
English speaking audience, 5) No adult sites or hate sites, 6) Have their
own domain and not be redirected or contain duplicate content and
7) Provide a reciprocal link.
