Rutilated Quartz is clear Quartz shot through with fine, needle-like Rutilated Quartz Crystals. Sometimes you'll see Tourmilated Quartz represented as Rutilated Quartz. How to distinguish? The crystals shooting through the quartz are Red/Gold. In Tourmilated Quartz, the crystals are almost always black.
